Operations

The CVWD Operations division is responsible for a number of programs and projects in order to ensure the proper operations of all District facilities and infrastructure.



The Water Maintenance division is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of the water system, in order to ensure maximum operational efficiency and reliability to our customers.

The Wastewater Maintenance division oversees the wastewater lines throughout CVWD’s 47 square mile service area, ensuring the lines are functioning properly and efficiently.

The Treatment division of CVWD oversees the operations and maintenance of CVWD’s three water treatment plants:

  • The Lloyd W. Michael Water Treatment Plant treats imported and surface water;
  • The Royer-Nesbit Water Treatment Plant treats surface water, but is currently offline; and
  • The Arthur H. Bridge Water Treatment Plant treats canyon water from the Cucamonga Canyon.
Treatment Plant Operators work around the clock- 24hours a day, 365 days a year to make sure our customers have the water they need, when they need it.
