CVWD and partnering agencies are offering the following No-Cost Water Use Efficiency Programs to eligible, residential customers to assist them in saving water outdoors and in their home.

Small Site controller upgrade PROGRAM
(Eligible for customers with less than 1/4 acre) This program provides you an opportunity to replace your old sprinkler timer with a new, water efficient device, installed by a landscape professional. The evaluation and efficient device are FREE (up to a $1,000 value per landscape). Some restrictions may apply. We have contracted with Conserv Inc. to manage the following two programs. Hunter Hydrawise Controller
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
An outdoor water use evaluation (Landscape Survey) performed by a certified professional
Installation of a Hunter Hydrawise weather-based irrigation controller
Professional training on your new controller
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have an operating sprinkler system
Site must have a minimum of 500 square feet of landscaped area
Property size must be less than a quarter acre (less than 10,500 square feet)
Large Landscape Retrofit Program
(Eligible for customers with 1/4 acre property or more):
Similar to the Small Site Controller Upgrade Program, this program gives customers with larger properties the opportunity to also save water. However, the evaluation and water efficient devices are FREE (up to to a $1,500 value per landscape). Some restrictions may apply. Attending a mandatory workshop is NOT required.
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
An outdoor water use evaluation (Landscape Audit) performed by a certified professional
Installation of high efficiency sprinkler nozzles (small devices that are inserted into your existing sprinkler heads)
Installation of a Hunter Hydrawise weather-based irrigation controller
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have an operating sprinkler system
Property size must be a quarter acre or more (at least 10,500 square feet)
** This program will NOT include replacement of current sprinklers and/or existing sprinkler system or removal of grass or plants. **
