Meet our HR/Risk Team
We are the HR/Risk Division, and we are here to help guide and assist you in any way possible as you join our team! We know that starting a new job can be anxious, which is why we are committed to aiding you through this journey.

First Day Tips
- Don't be afraid to ask question, we are here to help or to point you in the right direction.
- Dress comfortably, you will be sitting for a while, and consider bringing a light sweater, the temperature in the conference room can fluctuate.
- Lunch will be provided. If you have any food restrictions we should know of, contact Rosa Lopez to let her know.
Benefits Overview
As a new employee, you will have 30 days from the date of employment to enroll in any eligible benefits, however, we ask that you submit any enrollment/declination forms as soon as possible.
District Benefits Package Summary & Insurance Rates
- The Benefits Summary List will provide you a brief overview of the benefits offered to District employees.
- The 2020 Insurance Premium sheets will allow you to see the current rates for the insurance plans which are in effect until December 31, 2020. You can view the 2021 Rates (eff. 1-1-2021), located in the side toolbar to the left of this page.
Medical Plans
- The District offers five medical plans to choose from.
- View the Benefits Summaries & Legal Notices to compare medical plans.
- Complete either the enrollment form or the declination form.
- If declining medical coverage, you must complete the declination form and provide proof of outside medical insurance.
- Enrollment of Spouse and/or dependents required a copy of marriage and/or birth certificate.
- If enrolling in a CDHP plan, you must also complete the Health Savings Account form (HSA),

Dental Plans
- MetLife is the assigned dental provider. Employees can select from either a PPO Plan or a DHMO Plan. Participation in the dental plan is optional. Dental coverage is paid 100% by the employee during the probationary period. Upon successful completion of the probationary period, dental premiums are bundled into the 85/15 employee contribution.

- Complete either the DHMO or PPO enrollment form if you would like to enroll in the dental insurance plan.
Vision Plan
- VSP is our vision plan provider. Vision coverage is paid 100% by the employee.

- Complete the VSP Enrollment Form if you would like to enroll in the vision insurance plan.
